This year’s Mitsubishi Motors European seasonal campaign brings creativity and technology together. Two days, eight film sets, unique marketing content:

FAB filmed on a fully virtual LED stage that brought the production to a digital, economical and highly efficient level. Less travel time, less production effort and a special look for the marketing content. Get ready for fun and adventure!

IN A VIRTUAL LED STAGE PRODUCTION

Photorealistic renderings mixed with shot footage in a virtual set form the ingredients for a wide variety of marketing assets. As a special highlight, the driving scenes were also created entirely virtually. All spots and photos run on the media channels of the European Mitsubishi countries.

World premiere. In September 2022, Mitsubishi Motors Europe unveiled the new ASX, which will be sold throughout Europe from March 2023. From the beginning, FAB has coordinated CGI productions as part of the release campaign. Content was created in the areas of film and photography for the marketing of the modern SUV.

Female students and graduates are the focus of the “Gipfelstürmerin” recruiting campaign. FAB produced several social media spots for Ebner Stolz Management Consultants to specifically address a female target group and attract more female colleagues to the Ebner Stolz team. In times of corona lockdown and travel restrictions, it was extremely difficult for the M&A experts at Ebner Stolz Management Consultants to meet with interested parties, visit company locations or negotiate with investors. Therefore, we jointly developed a Digital Company Presentation that allowed all parties involved to get a good impression of the respective company, the acting persons as well as the most important economic key figures. The format has proven itself – even in the post-Corona era.

Months before the first 1.6 ton SUV leaves the factory hall, the new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross sees the light of day at FAB. Built by our 3D artists according to original CAD files, the high-class rendering model passes through original film sets in different colors and equipment. In our FAB Studios, the Eclipse Cross is photographed virtually with all accessories for the catalog. The promotion film and brochure are part of the Japanese bestseller’s global marketing premiere.

PURE DRIVING EXPERIENCE

CERENCE 220 DEGREE VIRTUAL REALITY

Cerence, the world’s leading provider of automotive voice recognition and artificial intelligence on the final stretch of completing its revolutionary communication system. The planned premiere was: CES, January 2020 in Las Vegas. Every visitor was able to interactively test the entire software spectrum in a real vehicle on the stand. And to ensure an authentic as possible driving experience, the streets and hotspots of Vegas were brought to life on an Igloo Vision 220-degree screen for the front windshield and side windows of the vehicle – with real moving images. And this is exactly the film FAB produces, night and day, in the hot Vegas summer of 2019.

TEAM AND TECHNOLOGY TO THE LIMIT

An outside temperature of least 40 degrees Celsius, enormous amounts of data and a completely new camera, the first copies of which are being delivered: the all new Insta360 TITAN featuring Micro Four Thirds sensors, 11K mono, 10K 3D and 7x 4K performance without VR glasses. Exactly what we need! Night and day the FAB crew films at the limit: the highlights on the Las Vegas Strip, the Stratosphere Tower, a staged police operation in downtown, the Elvis scene on Freemont Street. Typical low light situations with high backlighting from the mega displays are not the only challenge. Played in a VR space from Igloo Vision, our virtual reality film with real motifs became part of a sensational Cerence premiere event at CES 2020.

Getting Ready for CES 2020

Las Vegas, January 2020. As one of the largest trade fairs for consumer electronics and connected cars, the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) is the world’s hotspot for all leading manufacturers and developers.

We realized the 220-degree film as well as the corporate on-air design for the Cerence booth. Visuals and logo animations produced by FAB are true eye catchers at the North Hall stand.
